cabo san lucas

Our 3rd day of family adventures in Mexico was to take our parents to Cabo San Lucas.  They had a great time taking a taxi boat to Lover's Beach and Land's End.  Land's End is the tip of Baja California where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet.  It's nature at it's best because the Sea of Cortez is calmer and warmer compared to the Pacific Ocean.  When the seas merge, they create big waves and rip currents at the tip of Baja California.  When the boat takes you to the Pacific side, the sea is darker and the waves are rough.  The other side of Lover's beach is called Divorce beach because of the harsh conditions of the Pacific.  We manage to have the boat all to ourselves and it was a treat because it felt like a private boat tour.

Our water boat had a bottomless floor, so we took advantage of seeing some sea life below.  Stay tuned for our shopping day at Cabo San Jose.
