I love plane rides and my favorite part is when you feel the G-force as we take off to our destination. Yes, it's the scariest part of flying, but I love it. My favorite seat of the plane is the window because I love how everything looks modular when your up in the sky. The plane ride to San Jose de Cabo, Mexico is only 2 hours, so it's such a treat to be transported to a foreign land in such a short amount of time. It was my second time going to Cabo and the place never seems to amaze me. There was always something new you found and also admire the good ole times I had with my sisters on my 30th birthday. What made the second trip special was my parents finally got to enjoy Cabo for themselves and my sister Darah and I scuba dived in Pelican Rock at Cabo San Lucas. We arrived in Cabo during the late afternoon, so the first day was dedicated to settling in, grocery shopping at the Mega store and night swimming.
The next day, my sister and I scuba dived at Pelican Rock in Cabo San Lucas. It was nerve racking because it would be our 2nd time diving on our own without an instructor. The Lands End diving company made us feel comfortable that I knew we were in good hands. Our divemaster was this young 26 years old and looked like the typical divemaster with long shaggy blond hair and aura of calmness and carefree attitude they all seem to possess; is it the nitro? I dunno. But he made us feel comfortable and at ease when we dove. Pelican Rock was an amazing dive site and we got to see some colorful fishes and experience diving south of California.
Here is my Nikon Coolpix camera encased with Ikelite, which I am able to go as deep as 60 meters!
My sister Darah and our Divemaster as he helps her with her goggle issues. She can never clear her goggles. I love this fatty fish. He is so cute and adorable! I squeezed him a bit too much and thank goodness he got away, LOL!
Fish all around us!
I look weird magnified or just funky undewater, hee hee and here is my sister.
Here is my sister with the divemaster as we swim back to our boat.
Yay! We survived our second time diving on our own with the help of our amazing divemaster! It was an exhilarating experience and I am definitely hooked into diving! Next post will be some underwater fun from our time share pool. Click here for some more pictures!
